Google Video is a video hosting and sharing solution that enables the CGIAR Centers to use video as an effective medium for internal communication and collaboration. - Share videos with a group of people or with everyone in the cgxchange.org domain only***.

***Note: you can share videos only with CGIAR staff who are cgxchange.org users. The videos uploaded in Google Video on cgxchange.org cannot be made public on the Web, neither can they be shared with Google/Gmail account holders. How to access Google VideoCGIAR
Users
You need a cgxchange.org account to access Google Video.
How to upload videosNote: Google Video for Education Edition offers 10GB of video space for the cgxchange.org domain and the ability to upload videos is limited to 100 users. If you would like to upload videos on CGX 2.0 on behalf of your Center, please request the CGX 2.0 administrators to grant you access: cgxchangeATcgiar.org - Once you have access to video upload, sign in, go to Video and select the Upload tab.
- Enter the Title, the Description, any Tags you want to use, select the Language of the video and enter the Recording Date.
- Click Choose File to select the local file you want to upload.
- When you're done, click on the Upload Video button. The time required for full upload can vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the file.
In the Upload tab you can also specify the sharing options for your video. To share a video: - In the Collaborators text field, enter the username(s) of the person(s) within the cgxchange.org domain that you want to share the video with as collaborators. Collaborators can modify title/description, see the sharing list, hide/show downloading links, change the sharing list, and delete tags submitted by others. Collaborators can do everything owners can do exept delete videos.
- In the Viewers text field enter the username(s) of the person(s) you want to be able to just view your video.
- To share a video so that it can be viewed by everybody at the cgxchange.org domain, check the box Anyone at cgxchange.org can view
